  1. In a UNHCR camp in northern Iraq, the KRG-KRI, I was able to celebrate it with Syrian refugees who are ethnic Kurds. Perhaps the first they were allowed to celebrate publicly. It was a day of many colors musci, dance and great joy.

  2. I feel the same, each and every year ; Spring brings a pure refreshing breath, and clean the dust from our eyes. How glad am I to quit the veil of grey days, although I always follow the light of hope and spring.
Spring for me is the kiss given by the charming prince/God to the world/sleeping beauty.
May the people clean their minds and feel the renewal.

I found some quotations to add here.

“The beautiful spring came; and when Nature resumes her loveliness, the human soul is apt to revive also. ”
    — Harriet Ann Jacobs

“No man can taste the fruits of autumn while he is delighting his scent with the flowers of spring. ”
    — Samuel Johnson

“Spring shows what God can do with a drab and dirty world.”
    — Virgil A. Kraft
